Wilna posted this and it just made me smile. :-)
Hello!!!!!!!!!! LOL
I am STILL trying to get caught up on my sleep! I had the best time at the Scrap Etc Event. You guys have no idea. Tired and all. I loved meeting all the ladies that were blog readers, making new friends. Just wonderful!!
I took the girls shopping for fabric the other day for a couple of patterns that they picked out for me to make (they make requests now lol) This is what they picked up...
All the pink belongs to Kayla...of course lol Jaelyn picked up blues...lol. I will work on those dresses soon!
Sooo, I have been SO in the mood for scrapping. Here are a couple of LO's I did the other day.
This LO means so much to me. It has been a LONG time since I have been gone away from home for days on end. I missed my family SO much. I am so far from having the perfect life, or the perfect marriage, but through all of our problems and what not, this guy is the love of my life lol. *phew* ok...here are some other pics:
I haven't been sewing, but using fabric and pins on this LO just seemed natural lol.
I am totally inlove with jute and pins. You will see these a lot. The journaling on this one was very personal so I didn't really want it out there. I attached a Heidi Swapp folder to the page, then put half of the picture over it. It still opens and hides the journaling.
Products Used:
CS: Bazzill
Fabric
PP: Basic Grey
Technique Tuesday Stamps: Avalon and Truly, Madly, Deeply
Jute
HS Mirror, date stamp and credit card letters.
MM pins and journaling sheet
Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Next up we have one of me and my girls:
I love this LO. It is so different for me. I feel like my style is evolving.
Y'all that know me well, know I hate cutting stuff out. I hand cut this flower...HELLO!!! GO ME! LOL. I used Tulip Fashion bead paint to give it some definition. Aj touched it before it could dry lol.
Gotta have some bling right!?!? LOL. The Heidi Swapp Bling, is my FAVORITE. BUT on her words she only had GIRL not GIRLS...soooo I took the "S" off of the word SHE lol. Had to make it work lol.
Products Used:
Basic Grey Paper
MM: Artisan Edge Blue
PP:MME Tres Bien
HS: Floral Mask, Bling words, mailbox stickers, runway glossy extras, date stamp
Tulip Fashion Bead Paint
Krylon Paint.
Ok, that is all for me! I'm going to get caught up on my emails (yes again lol) and then go to bed. I've been going to bed seriously early this week!!! LOL
Toodles! I hope y'all had a great day and I hope you have a great rest of the week!!!

Your girls have great taste in fabric, just like their Mom! The layouts look great. You know what I always say - go with whatever hobby is making you happy at the time. If it's scrapping right now, go for it!
