Awwwwwww Damn! That is the funniest. I sometimes walk out of my house on the phone and get in my car and pull out of the drive way thinking why am I getting a bad connection. Because it's the house phone!!!

Ok, had to let you know you are not by yourself. I did the same thing a few months ago. But Marc has both of us beat. He took off in the car one time while talking to someone on the house phone and couldn't figure out why he lost service a few feet away from the house until he looked down and realized he had the cordless phone (lol).
