Jaelyn looked so cute for her first dance. You are seriously making me want some of that shirting.

You got your first BWOF!!! And you've picked a great pattern to start with! I love that blouse! It's on my wish list too but I still haven't found the right fabric for it!
Have a great and inspired weekend, my friend!!! And thanks for the shout out ;)

GURL!!! They do NOT make love songs like this anymore! And that is very SAD!

LOVE this song!

OMG! Jaelyn is growing up! Tell her to stop holding back that beautiful smile!!! She better show those thousands of dollars teeth! HAHA!! :oD

That is my dh song!!

Oh your bady first dance that is so sweet. My teenager is going to the homecoming Saturday. This is his last year of high school, so I know how you feel about them growing up.Not ready!

you taking it wayyyy back now.
jaelyn's smile is so pretty!

Jaelyn is looking so grown up. She has a beautiful smile. Hope she had a great time at the dance.

Kudos to you for trying BWOF! I am not up for that just yet. I love the pattern you picked out though. Can't wait to see it on you.

Love the fabric you bought. The butterscotch charmeuse is gorgeous. Did you get it all at Hancock's?

Have a wonderful weekend!

I thought of you yesterday when I listened to Da Butt by EU (I feel like I'm the only person who remembers that song, though) AND the Kid 'N' Play Kick Step on my way to work. I love your weekly videos!

Your daughter looks so pretty all dolled up for her dance! I remember going to my first dance. I was so nervous and excited.

How sweet it is for Jaelyn! I know this is a milestone for you. I am sure you will scrapbook the moment!

I can't wait to see your projects you make. The over shirt is really cute!

That Over Blouse is going to be awesome!

Guuurrrllll pullleeeaaze, you put on Mr. Williams??!!! LOL.
"But I want all of you girl, if it's in Gods will, cause I loooooove you". Imma just say it cause I'm done having kids and I'm speaking to the grown folks- that right there is BABY MAKIN music!! LOL :) HA!

how old is jaelyn? first dance... hmmm i am not looking forward to that!

i like those pants! did they have a pattern for them too?

i couldn't stand Lenny Williams. he was like the Keith Sweat of the 70s or something.

have a great weekend

The fabric looks gorgeous and I can't wait to see the over blouse. It is so amazing to see them grow up - when they are babies we say...I can't wait until you can talk and walk......and than once they do...we start to miss those days.

I know I do.

For some reason this song always makes me smile(maybe it is because of the commentary I briefly heard on the Steve Harvey radio show)It's definitely a classic! Your daughter is beautiful...I remember my first dance..fun times...youre gonna be fighting off the boys soon...:)That magazine looks fun, and that top is adorable!

Ooooh that charmeuse... YUMMY!
I almost bought the Burda issue this month because of that overblouse... I was good and put the magazine back on the rack... (I have so many projects lined up already, you know?) but you're making me reconsider. That design is truly special!

Adrienne, enjoy your weekend!! :)

That is such a cute jacket!

I hope baby girl had a great time!

I've made a memo in my Outlook to check out your blog every Friday -- always good to brighten my mood ... or make me laugh hysterically. The shirting looks beautiful -- have fun with it!

Awwwww, her first dance! I'm not quite there yet & am in no hurry!

That last fabric is gorgeous. What's that going to be?

Nooooooo you didn't!!! - Lenny is one of my daughter's favorite artist (she is a soul child. I must hear that song at least once every morning and also she plays an Al Green song...LOL - and on top of that she plays one of Madea's movies in which one of the characters sing a few bars from Lenny's song... ROFLOL. Oh yes its totally bitter sweet - your daughter's first dance.

Jaelyn's smile looks great - the braces were very effective!!

Can't wait to get my first BWOF! I bought some tracing paper the other day at the art supply store in preparation for it!

those little kids grow up so fast! the Charmeuse fabric is gorgeous - i love the color.

Your daughter is so pretty! I hope she had a good time. I've heard so much about the BWOF. I need to order them. I really love that over blouse. And I must say--even your fabric pictures are fabulous! Have a great weekend!

Your fabric is beautiful! Where did you buy it? I just can't seem to find anything at Hancock's that I like.

I love throwback Friday's!!
Your daughter is just beautiful, such a lovely smile. They do grow up FAST. The butterscotch fabric is going to look great on you can't wait to see what you're going to make from it.

i'm still lovin' the throw backs!!!

aah, look at Jaelyn all grown up! so pretty and looking like a young woman! :-D

that over blouse is cute!!! lovin' the fabrics. that butterscotch looks like it needs to be made into some satin sheets, ROFL!

can't wait to see your knitting progress!

Ooooooohhhh, that butterscotch is yummy!

Jaelyn looks beautiful and all ready for her dance, hope she had a good time. Ooh, I want to see your leftover vest. I was thinking that I need to make one with some of my leftovers!

Jaelyn looks so pretty!!!! She is growing up so fast!! She looks so much like Donna!!! Beautiful fabric as always!

Ooh I liked that song! I played it for OH over the phone LOL Look at your Jaelyn, looking all growed up! Just you wait - before you know it she'll be 17 like mine (I can't quite believe it).

That pattern is fantastic. I want to make it up too, but I'm on a fabric diet until I go to NYC next month. You're going to love BWOF.
