Your sewing skills are amazing! The top looks great on you. Way to tackle pleats! I started dabbling in sewing last summer and put the machine away to focus more on my knitting. I'm going to pull it out again this fall to work on my sewing. Your projects are an inspiration!

I love the top. You look fantastic in it. Thanks for the trend alert. I'm mad now. lol I saw a pattern from Simplicity for this past year that had a similar shawl collar. I'm hot that I didn't buy it, or did I. Now I have to go check. I'm heading over to IW to give a listen.

The top is cute. I saw the pattern but I didn't think it would look good on me. Maybe when I lose some weight! LOL!
Keep up the good work!

Love the top!!! You are giving me too many great ideas!!! I won't ever be done sewing. LOL Actually thank you very much, I can be somewhat fashion challenged at times! LOL

I love your top! I'm finally catching up on my blog surfing. Kayla is such a cute twirler. I always wanted to learn how to learn how to twirl a baton. I was on drill team and twirled flags and rifles a little. Now when I come to Alabama you have to teach me to how to do all the crafts and hobbies you have and your little twirler can show me how to twirl. I'm digging that new Angie Stone song. I haven't heard it before. Girl, you know I love me some college football too! And of course love the cute pic of AJ sleeping. He's such a cutie! Take care.

That's fabulous! I want to sew my own clothes too *sigh*
Posted by: J | September 15, 2007 at 07:51 AM
OMG, I LOVE that top on you! It's funny, I didn't expect it to look good on a 'real' (read, somewhat busty) woman, but yours looks fantastic! I'll have to check this pattern out.
Posted by: Gorgeous Things | September 16, 2007 at 01:34 PM
I absolutely love your top. This is one of my fall picks. After seeing yours, I'm anxious to make it.
Posted by: Cennetta | September 16, 2007 at 07:15 PM
What a lovely top! The neckline is especially flattering on you.
Posted by: Solidia | September 18, 2007 at 12:20 PM
I just lovew that top. I am getting that pattern asap! Love the colour too.
Posted by: Meg | September 20, 2007 at 12:14 AM
that top is just fantastic! It looks wonderful. I am a very beginner sewer and I want to make tops as none fit me right in the shops. You have inspired me to give it a go. I was not sure about sewing clothes for myself as anything I have knitted for myself has not turned out well.
